Mission Statement

To teach soccer to children in the Round Rock area from ages 4 to 18, and provide a safe and enjoyable environment with outstanding facilities.

Objectives

  • Provide qualified training for parent volunteer coaches
  • Improve existing and develop new facilities
  • Run a quality organization
  • Ensure the children enjoy the experience
  • Maintain a safe environment for our players and families

Strategies

  • Provide parent volunteer coaches clinics each season, leading to a qualified coach at the parent volunteer level and  identify those parent volunteer coaches who would like higher level education from the USSF or NSCAA. 
  • Run a training Academy teams for the 5-10 year old age groups.
  • Provide playing opportunities for all levels of skill and ambition.
  • Maintain an affordable fee structure 

Parameters

  • The focus of our efforts is based on meeting the needs of our community.
  • A happy and enthusiastic player is essential to our organization’s development.
  • We do not tolerate disruptive behavior from players or their families.
  • We will not be content with maintaining a status quo, but will always strive for improvement and providing a fun environment for all players.

We are also very excited to have access to the Voigt Elementary School. We are looking to offer some recreational opportunities there in Fall 2017 - there will be more specifics supplied as we start the Fall season. 


RRSA - LSC OVERVIEW

RRSA MINI-KICKERS

  • Run by the site director with help from parent volunteers
  • Coed
  • 6 Saturday mornings for 45 minutes
  • Small-sided games
  • Players receive a T-Shirt and medal

 

U5 (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2013)
U6 (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2012)

 

  • The 'New Ball Method'
  • Optional practice once a week
  • 7-9 games on Saturdays (potential Sunday games due to weather conditions)
  • 4v4 playing format
  • 50% playing time

 

U7 (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2011)
U8 (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2010)

 

  • The 'New Ball Method'
  • Optional practice once a week
  • 7-9 games on Saturdays (potential Sunday games due to weather conditions)
  • 4v4 playing format
  • 50% playing time

 

U9 (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2009)
U10 (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2008)

 

  • 5v5 or 7v7 playing format
  • Goalkeepers
  • Single center referee
  • Larger field
  • Optional practice once a week
  • 7-9 games on Saturdays (potential Sunday games due to weather conditions)
  • 50% playing time
  • No heading/no punting
  • No league standings or play-offs for U9-U10
  • Optional end of season tournament (additional fee)

 

U11 (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2007)
U12 (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2006)

 

  • 7v7 or 9v9 playing format
  • League includes LSC partners
  • Games are played at  Valley View Elementary School, Milburn Park, Justin Lane, Slaughter Creek
  • Home games played at your registered location
  • 7-9 games on Saturdays and/or Sunday afternoons
  • 50% playing time
  • No heading/no punting

  • 11v11 playing format
  • Optional one or two practices per week
  • CAYSA league (LSC does not control schedule)
  • Fall season: mid-September to mid-November
  • Spring season: mid-March to late May (due to High School soccer)
  • Depending on the number of registrations LSC may form teams to play small sided games
  • LSC does not pay for any tournaments including play-offs

 

 

The number of registrations will determine if teams are coed and/or combined age groups.‚Äč

Game Formats by Age Group - some locations may not have all age groups due to registration numbers at that location. 

Games are on Saturdays with the potential for Sunday games. Games are played at the following fields:

A total 7-10 games will be played for the U4-U18 age groups. Fall season will run mid-September to mid-November. Spring season will run mid-February to late April.
